EVELYN NERONA-MORANTE
*Del Pilar Academy Class IV-A

After graduating from DELPA in 1978, Evelyn attended San Sebastian College to take
up Nursing.  She did not like Nursing so she transferred to Lyceum of the Philippines
and took up Foreign Service.  After 6 months in Lyceum, her whole family immigrated to
Canada.  She took up post-secondary Canadian education - taking up Accounting.

Currently, she is working as the Finance Assistant for a multi-level/extended care facility
in Vancouver, Canada.

Evelyn got married in 1986 to Orland Morante (who is a DELPA Batch 1976 and also
the brother of Larry Morante of DELPA Batch 1977).  Orland was a Geologist in the
Philippines (Bureau of Mines) when he came to Canada and is now  currently working
for a Construction Company with businesses in different parts of the country and
outside the country.

They have two (2) children:
*Daughter Michaela, 1st Year University Student.
*Son Edric, a Grade 9 Student.

She hopes to see more of our classmates on this website and meet them in person -
like Lily Reyes, Nel Sabater, Joji Pakingan, Emma Candelaria, Edith Fauni and Aggie
Mercado.
