VIRGILIO MANALO YAMBAO
*In Memory of his Family, Friends and Classmates...

Viyong (his nickname) was born in Imus, Cavite on October 28, 1961. His
educational background started in 1968 by attended Imus Pilot Elementary
School and then from 1974-1978 he attended Del Pilar Academy High School.
Upon graduating from high school, he attended college at the Philippine Marine
Institute in Manila were he graduated in 1981. He had a very successful career
in the Merchant Marine and quickly qualified and pass the following seamanship
board exams and earned his licenses as:
* 3rd mate on February 14, 1985 in Cebu.
* 2nd mate on February 21, 1989 in Cebu.
* Chief mate on February 28 & 29, 2004 in Manila.

He was married on April 29, 1990 and is survived by his wife Arlene Sabale
Yambao and two children. They live in their beautiful home located at Vilma Sub-
Division, Bayan Luma, Imus, Cavite with their two beautiful daughters:
* Trisha Angeline S. Yambao (15)
* Tara Catherine S. Yambao (11)

On November 14, 2004 he died mysteriously at a port in Vera Cruz, Mexico. His
unfortunate passing was so intriguing that it was made into a GMA Channel 7 TV
show called "Imbestigador" which was recently aired on February 2006 in the
Philippines.
